Whether it’s smoking our own pepperoni or wishing you happy birthday with a candle in your tiramisu, our mission is to provide you with excellence.

We began as a counterpart to La Stella Trattoria in the opposite end of Nanaimo, but have developed into an individual restaurant under different ownership with our own recipes. We continue to honour the values of our older sister even as we pursue our journey independently.

When it comes to our ingredients, we source locally as much as possible to elevate our hand-crafted Italian food. Our coffee is offered in partnership with Regard Coffee Roasters, our friends across the street. Likewise, our salads are made with fresh greens from Farmship Growers Cooperative in Yellowpoint.

Our team takes quality seriously, which means making the poulish for our dough weekly, grating our cheese ourselves, and putting tomatoes from right here in Nanaimo onto your Pomodoro pizzas. Our chefs work around the clock to deliver hard work you can taste.
